How to take care of your garments 

SILK
 1. Stay away from makeup!
 To grant it a long life and to preserve its beauty, we suggest avoiding any contact with your perfume and beauty products.
2. Dry cleaning
 

We highly recommend dry cleaning by a professional in order to give it the level of attention it deserves.

3. If you prefer to do it by yourself, here are a few tips for handwashing:

  1) Put your silk garment in cold water with a soft detergent

  2) Leave to soak (no more than 5 minutes)

  3) Gently manipulate the garment to make sure the detergent is well distributed

  4) Rinse with clean water (Tip: to help keep its soft feel, use a gentle fabric conditioner in the final rinse!)

4. Dry flat on a towel

3. If you prefer to do it by yourself, here are a few tips for handwashing:

1)Soak in lukewarm water using a mild wool detergent 

2)Gently agitate by hand to dislodge any dirt particles. Be gentle!

3) Rinse in clean, cool water, and spin to rid excess water. A small amount of fabric softener can be used if desired.

4. Hang over a line or lay flat to dry. (Mohair dries quite quickly.) When dry, a brisk shake or brush (with a hairbrush) will restore the pile.

5. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY.

  1) Submerge the item and soak for up to 30 minutes.

  2) Rinse the item well with cool water;

  3) Do not wring; instead, press the water out using a towel

 4)Lay it in its natural shape on a flat surface, drying rack, or clean towel to dry.
