Introducing Instance Bridal
Last December, we had the great honour and pleasure to see our first bride wearing an Instance wedding gown. Justine said yes to Vincent on December 7th 2019, surrounded by their families and friends in France. Justine's was wearing a fully custom-made Instance gown, made out of lace and silk.
Justine was already a client of ours and when she asked us whether we could make her dream gown come true, we immediately said yes! After several months of work, from the first drawing to the final fitting, it was an amazing experience to see her gorgeous dress and Justine's dream come to life. She was as beautiful as ever when she walked down the aisle with her father and her dress was definitely a success!
We were also delighted to design the four bridesmaids' gowns, which of course were 100% silk and Made in Italy.
To sketch the gown, we listened carefully to what Justine had in mind and brought our expertise and advice to make it as flattering and comfortable as possible. Once the design was approved, we started picking the fabrics : an intricate lace for the top that we combined with a heavy Italian silk twill for the bottom.
We worked with Sabine, our trusted pattern maker, to create the pattern and sew the dress. Of course, we added a beautiful tulle veil to complete the bridal look and make Justine feel like a true bride. It took a couple fittings between July and October to get to the final result. Great things take time!
We are now working on two new wedding gowns for 2021 and are both honoured and excited to have been chosen for such special projects. Do not hesitate to reach out to us for any bridal or custom-made projects you may have, we will make your dream come true, always using the best materials and traditional techniques.
The bridesmaids chose hues of antique pink and lilac for the gowns. None of their dresses were the same : we wanted to create an elegant cameo of colours and shapes for a harmonious yet personalised feel for the bridal party. Same but different.
