Milan : An Insider Guide to Italy's most fashionable city

While often underestimated, Milan is without a doubt Italy’s most cosmopolitan and forward-thinking city. With its modern skyscrapers, charming historical quarters and exciting cultural events, there is always something new to do or see.
That means excellent restaurants, avant-garde art galleries, curated fashion and design boutiques and cute cafés.
We prepared a small guide to our favorite city, that is also home to our collection - from the first drawing to the final garment.

Do: Admire the Duomo and the Galleria

You cannot come to Milan without taking a stroll around the Duomo, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and the neighbouring quadrilatero della Moda. For a unique view on the city, climb the steps up to the top of the Duomo or enjoy a Spritz at one of the square's rooftop terraces.

Start your day well

Although Milan might be more fast-paced than Rome or Florence, there is always time to start your day enjoying a nice cappuccino and brioche.
Our favorite places for a relaxed breakfast are Gelsomina, a Sicilian café located next to the Stazione Centrale - and Lùbar in the magnificent Villa Reale.

Visit : La Pinacoteca di Brera, the Armani Silos and the Mudec

There are countless museums and galleries to visit in Milan. However, if we could only choose three of them, we would opt for the beautiful Pinacoteca in the historical Brera district, the curated Armani Silos and the always innovative Mudec.

Afternoon wandering

Enjoy the very picturesque tram to get to the Navigli district. The area is full of little coffee shops and bars to have a drink while admiring the view.
If you have a sweet tooth, Milan offers a variety of ice cream stores where you can indulge in the most delicious flavours. Our personal favorites are Latte Neve (Navigli), Artico (Isola and Duomo) and Chocolat (Cadorna).

Aperitivo & Dinner

Milan is the perfect place to enjoy a nice aperitivo with a refreshing Spritz. Head to Terrazza Triennale for a panoramic view on the Parco Sempione or to the Botanical Club for a vibrant atmosphere and innovative cocktails.
If you are still hungry, Milan has more restaurants than one could wish for. Our favorites are Langosteria Bistrot for fish, Cuccioto for pizza, Erba Brusca for a new take on Italian cuisine and Innocenti Evasioni if you are feeling fancy.
