Weekend guide (fall edition)

We would like to share with you some places that we love visiting for a weekend getaway from Milano.

1. Lake Como 
Lake Como is a paradise. You can do some walks along the water or have a long‑long lunch with a breathtaking view! One thing we know for sure: you will love it 🏔 We suggest you visit Villa Balbianello and its garden. Here we leave you a link to do your reservation and take your tickets. 

2. Liguria 
 Who said that the sea is only for summer vacation? Imagine a calm seaside, where you can enjoy the fresh air and tranquility of a picturesque little town. Bonus: the sun is (almost) always shining ☀️We suggest you visit Portofino and San Fruttuoso, we love them so much 

3. Alba, Piemonte 
 It’s tartufo time! And we have been waiting for it for so long🤩 everything is perfect in Piemonte: beautiful landscapes with vineyards (if you are lucky you can also do some wine-tasting), pasta with white truffle (tartufo bianco)…nothing to add 🍝

4. Franciacorta
Have you ever tried Franciacorta’s famous sparkling wine? If not it’s definitely worth a trip!🍷 a perfect place to relax🍂

5. Trentino
 If you prefer an active weekend, you should give Trentino a try! Beautiful mountains🏔 fresh air, ideal views… and maybe you will be lucky enough to meet some alpine cows🐄 

6. Pavia 
A beautiful town not so far away from Milan. Enjoy a nice stroll in the city center or along the river, visit La Certosa di Pavia, and end the day with a nice aperitivo on a picture-perfect piazza🍷

7. Palazzo Reale Milano 
Don’t want to go away from Milan? there is a perfect pass time for you! Go discover the « Monet » exhibition in Palazzo Reale near Duomo. We are sure that you will be inspired by the beautiful painting of Impressionism. Don’t forget to take a coffee in a legendary bar.
